It’s hungry work out there… Just on that tho: I never shoot people while they’re eating, so dinner is typically cameras-down time… With that in mind: quite often, a venue will serve vendor-meals after all of the other guests have been served, and whilst I realise that seems a polite thing to do, it’s often detrimental for the coverage to do it that way... So make a note to ask your venue to serve your photographer as quickly after the bridal-table as possible — that way, I can eat at the same time as everyone else, and get back out there as soon as some the first few tables are finished!

DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS, WALL ART AND PRINTS?

Nothing makes us happier than seeing the story of your day told in print! We offer a variety of fine-art photo albums, stunning wall-art and fine art prints for you to choose from. All of our products come with a 75 year guarantee, a beautiful way to preserve and display your wedding memories for a lifetime to come.

A few variables come into play here. If you want your album to tell the full story of the day, we’ll need to talk about what’s important to you, and a few factors specific to your vision. My basic full-day coverage starts with bride-prep, and documents everything up to and including the first-dance. If you wanted to include groom-prep, a little more coverage of the crazier dance-action, fireworks or sparkler exits, for example, then we can look at including some extra time for you.

Hmm. Each wedding brings so many different variables, so I’m hesitant to put an exact number on this... How long will we have for portraits? How long will I be at reception? How many guests will you have? Will we be loosing an hour (or more) in travel-time between locations, etcetera… these things all affect the number of images we are physically able to capture on the day. However, we typically don’t restrict the number of images we deliver — as we always love so many — but if I’m with you on location for two hours, then you may receive 100 or you may receive 200, it really just depends…

DO YOU OFFER A SECOND-PHOTOGRAPHER OR VIDEOGRAPHER?

I certainly do offer that service, and I’m privileged to work with some of the industries finest photographers…. Not only is my team super-talented and genuinely personable, but we’re all super-cruisey too. If you’re having quite a large wedding in terms of your guest-list; groom-prep is to be at another location, or if there is to be quite a bit of travel between locations on your day, then a second-shooter will be an essential add-on, and the days coverage will be that much more comprehensive for it!

The private online gallery with your digital images will typically be ready between 6 - 8 weeks. You can download (hi-res) and share (lo-res) directly from there…

If your collection included an album: We’ll design the album for you, and then schedule a consult — either in-person or via video-conference — during which time you’ll have the opportunity to changeout images, and to generally make any adjustments to the design... It may seem strange to do it this way, but as we are professional story-tellers, our couple’s are often blown-away by the design, and by just how great the images we select to best tell the story look in print… It’s also often the case that the couples themselves feel compelled to include certain images that may not necessarily serve to tell the most compelling story, so just sit back, and trust that we’ve got you!

If I’m available for your date, I find it’s always nice to have a lengthy phone-chat — and if we can manage to squeeze in a coffee or wine somewhere, even better — and then if you’d like to go ahead and secure me for your date, I’ll simply email you through a booking-proposal which will contain a digital-contract.  A 30% booking-fee will be payable at that time in order to secure the date for you — with the balance payable four weeks out from the big day. I do offer interest-free payment options (TAPeoples), so if you’d like to upgrade to include an album, or even finance your entire collection, then just ask, and I’ll see what I can do :)

IS THERE ADDITIONAL COST FOR TRAVEL?

Not for local weddings, but depending on your location, some charges may apply, so simply get in touch for a quote. Destination Weddings incur all travel-related expenses + $500 on top of the full-day service.
